“I’ll call Alastair to fill him in. I suspect he’ll want to move you.”

“Not until I’ve finished my training,” Dylan stated adamantly. “Webb can’t get to me in here, and you know it.”

“He’s got a point, Mars,” Emmet said.

“Okay, I’ll run it by Alastair to see what he thinks. But—” Mars looked squarely at Dylan “—if he says we’re moving you, then we are.”

Dylan sighed. “And I was about to learn how to handle a sniper rifle and, what do you call them, Emmet? Palm heel strikes?”

“Yep. Mars, I think we’re creating a dedicated operative. Lessons are more important that his safety, in his mind.”
