“We have two choices. One, the two of you play it out, and when he pulls his usual, ‘The woman changed her mind’ routine you tell him you want your money back. All of it. If he holds true to form, he’ll offer half, you tell him you want it all or you report him to the DA for fraud. He’ll try blackmailing you into remaining quiet, and we’ll have him dead-to-rights.”
“What’s the second choice?” Ken asked.
“You use your considerable computer skills to empty his bank accounts. All three of them. There’s one Sean didn’t find in his search a few days ago, according to this.”
“I saw it.” Ken grinned evilly. “Bryan Alcock. We could retire for life on what’s in that one.”
“Something he’d probably do, if he wasn’t so greedy,” Jonah commented.
“Let’s go for it,” Sean said. “I know we spent a lot of time setting up our sting, but honestly, I’m not sure I can handle waiting another month or more for him finish running his scam on us.”
