Slowly he became aware he was standing in the middle of Marty’s living room, jaw dropped as he turned to take in all that he could. In addition to the artwork on the walls, Marty had ceramic figurines of comic book and video game characters—some Rick knew, some he didn’t, but there were a hell of a lot of Pokémon, and a ton of other Japanese characters he was sure Micah would be able to name.

Rick grinned. “Well, maybe if you had less sexy chicks and more buff guys.”

“It’s in the crockpot.” Marty nodded towards the kitchen, inviting Rick to follow him. “I found the recipe online.”
