Chapter 31

“I like Robert Downey, Jr.,” Rick corrected. “There’s a difference.”

Upstairs, Marty invited Rick inside. The place looked the same as Rick remembered it, papered with comics and posters and memorabilia from a teenage nerd’s wet dream. “So most of this was in the inventory spreadsheets I uploaded to the website, eh?” he asked, hoping his voice sounded casual enough and not as if he questioned Marty’s ability to pass as an adult. He was a little disappointed when Marty said, “No, not thisstuff. I have all this in a separate file because I have to check the prices before I put it up on the site. I’m not going to sell it for what I paid. I mean, hello? Anything autographed is instantly more valuable, you know?”

Rick didn’t, but he nodded as if he understood. “But we willadd it to the site eventually?”
