“Bunny-bae!” he exclaimed, his voice already choked up. “Oh, Bunny-bae, I’m happy to see you, too…”
Austin was tearing up as well. He hadn’t seen Bunny this lively and exuberant in the whole six months she had been with him. The moment was so touching and heartwarming that Austin didn’t want it to end. At least he was getting it all on camera for future enjoyment.
Eventually Bunny lost some of her energy and merely lay on her back so Neil could rub her belly. Her eyes were closed in contentment, but the way her lips flapped open made her look goofy.
“Where’s this missing tooth?” Neil asked, tilting her snout for a better look.
Austin, who had ended the recording a minute prior, got down on his knees to show him. “See? You can’t even really tell anymore. This bottom tooth almost covers up the hole.”
“Yeah. Aside from comparing it to the other tooth, the only way you’d know it was ever there is you can see the slight indent on this tooth where it grew around the missing one.”
