They arrived in Cleveland late in the morning, which gave them the rest of day to check things out and set up a plan for Franklin’s demise. They had three rooms in the large motel they’d chosen, halfway between Franklin’s home and his purported business. Each room was on a separate floor—not that Gage and Ash would be using theirs. They hung Do Not Disturbsigns on the door handles before going up to Kegan’s suite.

“Come here. I’ll give you an ass rub to make you feel better,” Ash replied without blinking an eye.

“While I appreciate the offer, we have too much to do,” Gage told him. “The sooner we finish this, the sooner we can deal with Hardy. Then—the big finale.”
