Chapter 14

As the plane made the broad turn into LAX, J.T. forced himself to look out the window at his new home. Forget one city being like another: Los Angeles was fucking huge. He couldn’t see the edges of the city from the air—it just kept going on and on, filling the entire valley and maybe even climbing over the hills to fill the next one. He swallowed hard, and not entirely because of the pressure in his ears. How was he ever going to learn his way around?
