Once the two men were introduced to a room full of strangers, at least to Timothy, the young man immediately found himself cornered by Cody and Maria. Both children were silent but eyed him ominously. At one point, the poor man raised his hands, palms out and said, “I give, I surrender. I did it, or didn’t do it, whichever confession is the right answer.”
Cody glanced at Maria and then glared at Timothy once again. “I’m Cody Wilson-Bennett and this is my sister, Maria. Upstairs, in his crib, is our brother, Timothy Wilson-Bennett.” He then put his hands on his hips, still keeping a stink eye on the bewildered young man.
It only took a moment before a glint of recognition showed in his eyes. “My name’s Timothy. You’ve got a brother with the same name as me?”
