Nathan Wong wants to marry his boyfriend of more than seven years but has no idea how to propose. “Cool. Do you have the ring already?”


“Yeah. I bought it last year actually.”


“Before gay marriage was legalized?”


“Yeah. Regardless of the legal aspect, I want to marry him and be with him.”


“Wow, that’s so corny and sappy.”


They grinned at each other for a second before heading towards the front door.


“Listen, Jase. Nervousness is fine, right? I was nervous too back when I proposed to Anna. You’ll be fine.”


“Yeah, I know. Thanks again, Bran, for everything.”


“Anytime. Let me know how it goes, okay?”


He waited until Brandon had driven away before closing the door and preparing for the next phase of his proposal. He only had about two hours left. Nathan had only sent him one text message throughout the day. His boyfriend was probably busy at work. It was all good though. He needed as much time as possible to get everything ready.
