“Nate, can we talk?”
He noticed Nathan’s slight hesitation in the doorway before the man nodded in agreement. He hated arguing with his fiancé. They’d not spoken a word to each other the entire day and it was killing him. He really missed him very much. Once Nathan had closed and locked the door, his fiancé walked towards the couch and sat down slightly apart from him.
“Jase, I’m sorry.”
“No, it’s not your fault. You…you’re right. I’m insecure and possessive. I…I’ll work on those. I’m sorry, Nate.”
“Babe…”
“I’m terrified of losing you. There are so many amazing men out there who…”
“But they’re not you. I love you. I’m in love with you. You’re the man who I want to marry and spend the rest of my life with.”
“Really?”
He heaved out a sigh of relief when the other man nodded and scooted closer to him before squeezing his hands in assurance.
