Their first year as a married couple, or heck, just a couple at all, Io proclaimed a need to look his best. It was crazy, thinking about how quickly everything happened. From finding out on his birthday only months ago that Io loved him to marrying Io on Halloween. Talk about a whirlwind romance, and yet he liked the way things had played out. Io made him happy, far happier than he’d ever been.
“I give up,” declared his beloved, storming out of the closet butt naked and flopping down on the bed, arms crossed over his chest. It was an arousing sight. “I have nothing to wear.”
“I find that hard to believe,” Cinder countered, eyeing the shirts and sweaters and pants strewn about their bedroom. “Half of these look fine.”
“Fine? It needs to be better than fine. I can’t show up at a formal dinner looking fine. Not when I’m married to the alpha. I have to look my best so you look amazing.”
