“When it comes to you? Absolutely.” And our lips met, tongues playing with each other. I needed more.
I stepped away. “Let’s go to bed.”
I held out a hand, and he took it, walking beside me as we entered the bedroom. I slowly stripped him naked, having to practically peel the clothing off his body and enjoying the sight of flesh I was finally able—and finally willing—to touch.
“You are the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen,” I said as I ran my hands over his bare skin, so hot and hard, tanned in places from the sun, muscles formed from strenuous labor outdoors. “I wanted you from the first day you stepped into the office and smiled at me. I couldn’t help myself.”
Ryker took my hands and kissed the knuckles. “The first words out of your mouth when I asked ‘how was your morning?’ were, ‘what’s good about it?’ I fell for you right then.”
I snorted. “There’s something wrong with you.”
