Because Stephanie was supposed to be on their team, her room was in close proximity to their suite. Her room was barricaded tapes and signs reading, “Keep out.” It looked like a crime scene and in a sense, perhaps it was indeed. What he was about to do violated every sense of friendship that he understood. Staying intangible and focusing all of his attention on the keyhole, Mason smiled. All the tape, chains, and metal still couldn’t keep the Wisp from entering through something as simple as the keyhole.

Once through the keyhole, Wisp pulled himself together and stood naked in Blue Bird’s room. One small light in the room gave off enough glow to allow him to look around. There had to be some clue to where she was and with whom. She couldn’t have taken much with her. She had nothing in her hands as she flew.
