Caleb Dodson has lived and breathed baseball most of his life. Playing in the Minor Leagues means he’s close to his dream of being in the Majors, and he doesn't want anything to mess that up. For now, that means keeping his attraction to men a secret. But when the new announcer arrives at the stadium, Caleb finds himself falling hard and fast.<br><br>Lucas Landry was hired as a news reporter for a local radio station, but instead he is thrown into the world of sports -- a place he's spent most of his life avoiding. He doesn't like baseball or athletes, yet he is drawn to Caleb in a way he can't explain.<br><br>Caleb needs to make a decision. Will he come out and possibly lose his dream? Caleb's Choice

“Hey, Coach, do you mind if I say something?”


“Not at all. If you have something to add, let’s hear it. Come on up.”


The room fell silent as Caleb stood next to the coach and smiled at everyone.


“Look, I…” He cleared his throat. “Wow, I’m not sure how to say this. I’ve thought about it for years, but this certainly wasn’t the plan.” He cocked his head and saw Lucas staring open-mouthed at him. “So, um, here’s the thing,” he said, raking his hand through his hair. “I’m gay. And I’m not going to hide anymore.”


The room stayed quiet, and he smiled wider. “Oh, yeah, and I’m a secret Trekkie.”


Brandon laughed and clapped his hands. “I alwaysknew. I saw how your eyes lit up every time a new Star Trekmovie came out.”


Everyone laughed, breaking the tension.
