“Good,” he said. “Maybe they’ll cover us up.”


“Are you sure you can get to the northeast gate from this…path? That’s the last wooden gate, according to Ylenia’s map book.” He paused. “You still don’t have a plan, do you?”


“You burn down the gate,” said Akton. “That’ll alert Basil we’re here. We’ll kill a few of whoever he has posted at the entrance, and lure him into the forest.”


“Not track him down? I thought it was best to go on the offensive,” said Talfryn.


“This is the offensive—we don’t want to fight him where he has allies to help. Although it might be beneficial to set some sort of trap for him in the trees…We’ll have a look around once we get there.”
