“Phase one, done,” Lou said much later as he and Wayne got ready for bed.


“Yep. Now we take a couple of days to get acclimated to our new home, before we decide how to find Regotti and deal with him, without bringing Grimaldi down on our heads. I’d just as soon he doesn’t know we’re the ones who took the bastard out.”


“You and me both. I intend to live to a ripe old age, and die in bed making love to you,” Lou replied, kissing his husband.


“That, I can deal with,” Wayne agreed, returning the kiss as given. Then, since they’d showered before going out to eat, they went straight to bed. Unsurprisingly, despite their busy day, they still had enough energy, and desire, to make love before falling asleep. 8


Rae stretched, rolling her shoulders, then went back to staring at the computer screen. “I know Regotti didn’t disappear off the face of the earth. Dad, you’re certain he’s not in a WITSEC program?”
