As soon as Xavier had shut the bathroom door, Billy sighed out. The tension between them had reached its peak. He remembered all those long evenings he’d stayed home on weekends, while the other kids his age had been out dancing or throwing basement parties he’d never been invited to. Back then, he’d try to imagine what it would feel like to lie in someone’s arms, their skin on his skin, their breath on his face, and had fantasied about strange hands touching him places only his own fingers had explored.
