Tate told Jack, “Get Bill to call Lane Marco in Chicago. Lane is in charge of shipments, both receiving and outgoing, at Stellar Tea Company. See if he knows where our persimmon is. If he does, get it here as fast as you can.”

Jack nodded.

“And tell Bill to cover for you. You need a few days off. Obviously, you caught something in Key West when we were there.”

Again, Jack nodded.

Once Jack left his office, Tate stared at the blank screen on his laptop. Paul Persimmon entered his thoughts for some unknown reason:
