“True.” Brent smiled wryly. “I should have run a property search before we left, to see who owns it.”

“If you had, I bet it would have come up with that.” Quinn pointed to a ‘For Rent’ sign on the side of the road, two units down. They checked it, and found the name of the realty company, and an address on Main Street, Idaho Springs. “Next stop.”

When they walked into Mountain Real Estate, a middle-aged woman greeted them, asking if they were looking for property or a rental in the area.

“No,” Brent told her. “We’re private detectives—” he took out his wallet to show his license. “If you would, we’d like to know who’s renting 3308 Riverside Drive.”

“Why?” she asked, appearing dubious.

“We’re looking for a young man who’s missing. He may have attended a party there on Friday night.”

Her mouth tightened. “Mr. Young definitely had a party. It was loud, and one of the neighbors called the police. It’s not the first time it’s happened.”
