“Abby is plenty strong enough. She can lift half a couch.”

“Good to know. In the name of equality, I’ll carry the sheets and towels then. Either way, I’ll be there.”

Major went to speak. I shushed him with two fingers.

“And up and out of bed on time. I promise. And you know I’d never break a promise to you.”

“That I do,” he said against my fingertips. “True blue.”

I fixed my gaze upon him, through my glasses and his. “I’m glad you still feel that way.” 4

Major was still awake before I was. When I did stumble out in nothing but my Calvin’s, it was just getting light outside, though, so I figured I was fine.

“Morning.”

“Hmm.” I scratched what was left of my morning wood and then my head, where I was all but certain my hair was sticking out just like my dick had been.

“Coffee?” Major looked rearing to go.

“Just pour it over my head.”

“Don’t tempt me.” He handed me a cup of it instead. After that and two more, I was finally awake.
