He grinned, ducking his chin. “Officially? We met at the hospital when he was visiting a sick relative.”
“Uh huh.” He wasn’t so brown that I couldn’t see the pink tickling his cheeks. “Whereas actually…?”
“He gave me a hand job in a movie theater, then ate all my popcorn.”
I didn’t know what made me laugh harder, the shock value of his answer or how succinctly it summed up Colin himself. “Of course he did,” I said.
“Hey, it was Neighbors. I was hard anyway.”
“Yeah, Zac Efron’s pretty hot, I guess.”
He shook his head and dreamily sighed, “Seth Rogen. Every once in a while a guy needs a little somethin’ he can sink his teeth into, you know what I mean?”
“Hence that big ol’ breakfast for Colin?”
“Oh no. Don’t let the lean genes fool you, buddy.” He gave his muscled belly a smack. “I love to cook ‘cause I love to eat, and I love breakfast. The only way to Colin’s heart is through his ego. Make me a waffle, I’m yours for life.”
