“The Commonwealth Countries have thrown their lot in with us as will eventually the Chinese, for that we may have to locate the facility in Asia, and France is also on board. The President already proposed the idea to our allies, the unaligned countries and Soklov and his neighbors.”
Mark leaned forward.
“And their reaction was?” Mark waited for Morgan to be able to formulate his words diplomatically, “They would rather go it alone for the time being. As far as the Muslim world, Turkey, Egypt, Tunisia, Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia agreed, the extremists refused. We’re going to have more trouble with the religious extremists on all of the continents then we will with Russia. The Sarran’s existence has toppled their world view.”
Mark chuckled. “You weren’t given an easy job, John.’’
“You know, son, you grew up to be an intelligent and above board despite me.” Morgan’s eyes filled up. “Damn cats,” he said as he wiped his eyes as if he were allergic.
