Sheldon got up from behind the desk to stand next to Henry. He spoke to me for the first time that afternoon. "It's true, Theodore. I've wanted you for years. I did everything I could to get your attention, but you never took the bait. I was at a loss for what to try next until I found out we would beliving in the same building. I was a little jealous at first when I saw how you looked at Henry and interacted with him. I thought he was the reason why you wouldn't let me in, but I wanted to try anyway. I had to. And then, at the party, I got to know Henry a little bit and we talked about the job. One thing led to another and I confessed how I felt about you. So we came up with the plan."
In all my years, I never expected anything like this. "I don't know what to say," I said in a daze.
"Just say you'll forgive us and you'll give Sheldon a chance. Can you do that?" Henry asked.
