I smiled. “We’re getting better. No rush to do anything crazy. We’re taking our time. I don’t know if I’ve apologized to you yet for the things I said.”
He squeezed my hand. “No need. I just want the best for you. You know that.”
I hugged him carefully so as not to crush his fancy suit. “I love you, my friend. And congratulations on your upcoming nuptials. Only you can keep Laramie in line.”
“Did I hear my name?” Speak of the devil.
I turned to see Laramie Treble, gorgeous in a tux of his own, holding out his arm for Dorian to take. He obliged, and Dorian kissed his cheek. “Yes, you did. It was all good.”
Dorian winked at me, and both men turned to walk toward the red carpet that had been rolled out for the procession. The music began, and the wedding was underway.
