Trevor loves his life. He has a great family, amazing friends, his art, and the warm and inviting café where his creativity can come to life. His hard work has paid off, but something is missing. “Man, that was awesome!” Trevor grabbed Jordan in a quick hug.


“It felt amazing. I mean it’s only been a year or so, but being up there felt like it was yesterday.” Jordan sipped the coffee Dana brought over during his encore, apparently the old ladies in the corner sent it over. Jordan waved to them, thanking them for the coffee.


“Well, I have to head back to the club. You did great, bro!” Corey hugged his brother one more time, grabbed Trevor in a sideways man-hug, and held Peter’s hand as they left the café.


“Jordan, your brother is so damn sweet” Sam smiled as Christian gave him a disgruntled side eye.


Trevor sensed Christian’s feelings for Sam were growing, but he also knew he was not ready to come out to his fire squad. He loved them both, but he wouldn’t allow Christian to hurt Sam, or Sam out Christian before he was ready. He would have to intervene when necessary. To see them close all night made Trevor feel for them both.
