“I won’t let him chase you from being with your friends, good friends, and your family. You belong right here until you’re ready to go back on the road. I didn’t tell you about the agent calling because I knew you needed a little more time, but they will be waiting for you. He told me he would wait until you’re ready. He knows you have something special, bro. Don’t rush anything and do not run. It would break my heart too, ya know.” Corey squeezed Jordan tight.


“And mine!” Peter smiled at Trevor. “You’re my brother to, ya know.” Peter got in on the group hug.


“I know man. Thanks, and I love you guys too.”


Jordan looked at his cell. Shit, it’s 10 P.M.! I completely forgot about the dinner plans. Fuck. He read Trevor’s texts asking if he was still coming around 7:30. Trevor wouldn’t be too pissed, he hoped, but he was not good company right now, so he would text back in the morning.
