Trevor walked like a zombie back to Sam’s room. He needed to see with his own eyes that his best friend was okay. He saw Mitchell and Gabe walking out of Sam’s room, heading towards the exit. Trevor gave a quick smile and wave, not wanting to talk. He didn’t want them to see how upset he was, of course they would think it was all about Sam, and it was, but Jordan was going to leave and there was nothing he could do but be happy for him. It was hard to put on a happy face when his heart shattered at Jordan’s father’s words.


As Trevor walked into the room, Christian was holding Sam’s hand and talking softly to him. He looked up and noticed Trevor standing there.


“It’s about time!” Sam huffed and then giggled.


“Hey, I was here earlier, your bodyguard here wouldn’t let us in.” Christian blushed.


“I’m kidding!” “You were sleeping when we came to see you before.”


“We?” Sam looked like he was trying to see behind Trevor.
