Derek swatted his chest. “That’s not what I meant and you know it.”


“I know, and I don’t see why not, if we’re careful.”


“Why are you here? What’s the assignment?”


“I’m part of an operation to stop a small group of people who run a murder for hire business.”


“I thought that was something the FBI dealt with. Why you?”


“Because one of the men used to work for the Company before he went rogue.”
