Kenji is a third-generation Japanese-American and a gregarious fellow. He’s also gay.<br><br>When he buys a new condo, he meets James, the somewhat heavy-drinking ass who lives next door. Even if the guy were gay, Kenji wouldn’t date him in a million years.<br><br>Despite their differences, Kenji and James form a friendship which slowly moves into the bedroom. Kenji is falling for James, but can James come around to accept he’s really gay? Does he loves Kenji, or will the relationship die out before it even begins?

“You’re so awesome. Thank you.” Kenji leaned over and kissed James.


Mr. Michaelson said, “That settles that issue. We are so short of foster families in this county, and that’s what we’d set you up as to start an emergency foster home. Then we can evaluate you and move forward with adoption. There are classes you must attend and set a plan for child care and so on.”


James whispered to Kenji, “If you want, quit your job and be a stay-at-home mom. I make plenty of money. You and Sterick can move in with me, and you rent your place.”


“James, James, James, you are so wonderful. Have you thought about that, though?”


“Yes. For a while. And it was time to tell you. I’m sure.”


“We’ll have a good life with Sterick.”
