“Same structure?” Tobydallum interrupted the silence and the strange connection between Jamesdavis and Sartin.
“Yes, exact same structure.” Jamesdavis’s words were a bit sharp.
Jamesdavis let go of his upper arm and moved to Sartin’s forearm. Jamesdavis pressed down in the middle of his forearm. Painful at first, the sensation soon changed to mild discomfort. When Jamesdavislet go of his arm to make a note in his journal, Sartin withdrew his arm and held it close to his body.
“The other one, please,” Jamesdavis said when he was done writing. He motioned for Sartin to give him his right arm.
“Hurt me?” Sartin asked.
“No, I’m not going to hurt you,” Jamesdavis said. “If I was a bit rough with your left arm, I apologize. I promise, I’ll be gentle.” Jamesdavis raised his eyebrows in expectation and motioned toward himself again.
