“When are you going to make an honest man out of my only son?”


Jonah gazed at Davion’s dad in shock. “What?”


“Davion is thirty years old. It’s time for him to marry and settle down. I heard from him that you’ve moved in together a week ago. You should have proposed to my son before doing that.”


Jonah didn’t know how to respond to that, but Davion certainly had no such problem.


“Language,” Davion’s mom chastised before folding her arms across her chest.


“Mom, Dad, get real. Jonah and I have only dated for about two months. Marriage will be a long way off.”


Davion’s dad shook his head. “Feelings can be nurtured. Besides, you told me Jonah is the one for you.Get married in a hurry, so your old mom and I can walk you down the aisle. Also, you need to adopt a few children for us to pamper and spoil.”


“Old?” Jonah’s mom screeched and glared at her husband. “Who are you calling old? Have you looked at yourself in the mirror lately?”
