Neil Logan, recently graduated equine veterinarian, always felt he’d know when he found the man he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. Unfortunately, though Neil cares deeply for him, his college roommate Jordan is not that man. Neil wrinkled his brow and thought over what Kip had just said. “I’m not sure. I think maybe I do want more.”


“Guess that means we need to cool our relationship, right?”


“Uh…yeah I think so. I’m sorry,” Neil said, feeling a bit guilty.


“Hey, serial monogamy, remember?” Kip said brightly. “One guy at a time and when it’s over, it’s over. No hard feelings. We had a good time. Neither of us felt it was more than friends meeting needs. So it’s all good, right?”


“Of course, you big dummy,” Kip said as if to lighten the moment. “How about one of your fantastic kisses for the road?”


Neil laughed and pulled Kip into a hug.8
