Brody’s hair stood up in all directions, his hoodie was wrinkled, but even windswept, he looked good. He leaned against the truck, with his chin high, and a wide smile stretching his lips
“Bit windy…,” he said.
Finn smirked, and moved towards him. “Think it’s a bit too rough for us to go to the beach.”
Brody pursed his lips, then nodded. “Yeah, but I thought we could go somewhere else.”
Finn lifted his eyebrows. “Oh really, what have you got in mind?”
“The cinema, we could catch a movie…”
“As long as it’s not jaws.”
Brody laughed, then licked his lips. “I’m sure there’s a more modern shark film.”
“Maybe with a megalodon.”
Finn tried to control the happy smile stretching his lips, but there was no stopping it. He grinned, and Brody grinned back.
“So, is that a yes?” Brody asked.
Finn hummed. “Is this a date?”
Brody scratched the back of his head. “If you want it to be.”
“No, not if I want it to be. Is it a date?”
