Austin kissed me while he spread his thighs, and I fit my hips into the V he made with his legs. This. Right here. This felt perfect. I didn’t ever want to move again.

I took a minute to breathe. I needed this to be good for him. I needed him to know how much I already cared about him. He was so sweet and earnest, and I wanted to know everything about him. It wasn’t just physical attraction—though, holy hell, that was there in spades—but so much more. The sex was important, but it couldn’t be everything.

“You’re thinking pretty hard,” he whispered, and his hands smoothed over my shoulders. “It’s just us here.”

“That’s why it’s important.”

His eyes widened, but he stared at me, really studied me, and I let him. Finally, he smiled and his fingers resumed their trek. After another second, he swept them across my shoulder blade. “What’s this?”
