My estimation of him went up. He was actually useful, not to mention must have had a really great camera. I radioed in to have the National Guard check out this location. Maybe I’d finally get to meet this guy later today.
That didn’t happen. When I got these two reporters back to base, M told us excitedly that the National Guard had gone in and found an elderly couple in the house, one of whom had recently broken his leg while hiking, and the other who was having breathing issues. They were able to take the couple and their small dog to a safe place.
Later, on the news, I watched my two on television.
