“Yes, you should have. Maybe the fact that you didn’t tell me bothered me more than knowing you were engaged.”
“I guess a part of me wanted to forget it happened. And it was only two days.” Sebastian watched Caleb for a moment and didn’t like the silence.
“You keep stressing onlyOnlytwo days. Only engaged,” said Caleb. His voice trailed off on the last two words. “Is there anything else in the past, I should know?” His question was almost spoken like a prayer.
“Not that I can think of.” Sebastian sighed. God, I hurt him big time
