Chapter 5

“Oh, yeah. He’s sick. Puking his guts out. Seriously. He’s my roommate and I had to get out of there.”

He hated hearing Jeremy was sick, but glad he wasn’t avoiding Callum for some reason. “Hey, do you have a driver?”

Gage pointed to the other guy, who thankfully appeared sober.

“So, did you want anything?”

Gage looked at him in confusion. “What do you mean?”

Okay, the guy wasn’t tipsy. He was bombed. “Did you need a drink or snack before you leave?”

Gage stared blankly at him.

Callum waved over Gage’s friend for help.

The guy grinned. “Thanks. Come on, Gage. Let’s get you home. Your brother’s probably done throwing up by now.” He chuckled and settled his arm around Gage’s shoulders, guiding him away.

“Who the hell was that?”

Callum jolted at Maddie’s voice so close behind him. He spun around and smirked. “The drunk guy?”

She grinned. “He was hot.”

He rolled his eyes. He was good-looking, but Jeremy was…beautiful. “Jeremy’s brother.”
