“Do you have any idea how scared I was?”
“I mean, I don’t. But once she started coming, no fear was gonna push her back in.”
“I mean about this whole thing. When that flight diverted last night? I’m surprised I didn’t go into labor on the plane. For a second I didn’t know if I was having a panic attack or a stroke.”
“I’m surprised they let you on the plane.”
“Well, I mean, it’s not like they knew I was pregnant. Funny, right? Being perceived as a big fat guy, it’s like the most masculine I’ve ever felt. I see why some guys seem like they’re so proud of these big tanks you see ‘em carrying around.”
“I mean, it was working for me,” I admitted with a wink.
