Chapter 22

Brynn’s smile faltered for a moment and she took a deep breath. “Have you ever been to Cheeky Corner? I think they may have the best pasta in all of Seattle, if not Washington. I think it’s because they make it fresh daily.”

Nikki raised her eyebrows and her lips curled into a smile. “Oh yeah?”

“Yeah. But the problem is, there’s another little bistro in Bellevue that has me on the fence to which is better. I think you might have to be the tiebreaker for me.”

“I thought you wanted me to make you some homemade?” Nikki grinned.

“You’re right. So, maybe we should try every Italian restaurant in the city and then you can treat me to your homemade version. When she pulled back, Brynn was still watching her. “Nothing would make me happier than to be with you, Nikki.”

“Well, good because what you’re suggesting is going to take a long time.”
