“Not for me. When I was overseas, I saw people being bought and sold. Most of them were women and children. Sometimes it was for as little as enough money for a week’s worth of drugs. It’s sick.” Dale stood up from the chair and paced across the room, running his fingers back through his hair.
“Do you still want me to list the keys for sale?”
“Yeah, go ahead. Do you need to go hang out in the box after this? You hinted at expecting to be there until morning.”
“Unless you need more than a token amount of magic from me, I’ll be fine for a few hours. I will need to recharge before morning though,” Riadh said.
“Are you up for a little trip into the snow globe?” Dale stood behind Riadh and set his chin on top of Riadh’s head. He wrapped an arm loosely around Riadh’s chest.
“I presume for more than just a sleigh ride.”
Dale chuckled. “There could be some interesting events ‘in’ the sleigh if I didn’t think we’d half freeze to death.”
