Kyle honestly had no idea what Gordon meant, but he figured that would be a private conversation between him and Clement. He was certain Gordon knew a lot about Clement, but the older gentleman was too prim and proper to gossip about the crown prince.


“Even Mr. Edwin didn’t get the same treatment as you’re about to, Mr. Lee.”


Kyle was tempted to inquire further, but Gordon chose that particular moment to stand and bow at him and Clement before making his way out of the room once again. The gesture was so unexpected, Kyle got up in a hurry and bent his head down a little at Gordon before turning toward Clement in confusion.
