Chapter 18

The best part loomed in the backdrop. Prime wilderness, protected land which stood untouched by human destruction for hundreds of years. Clean air made breathing a pleasure while the crisp blue sky spoke of endless beauty and promise. About two miles outside of town the flatland of farms turned into more of the rolling hills of nature. Pristine. Impeccable. And a calling to his inner beast.

Never had he been so free before. For that alone, the town of Forgotten was home. Probably for now and years to come.

Now, if he could only get one ornery grizzly to thaw. That would be the cherry on top of the sundae.

Yeah, if pigs could fly, too.
