Chapter 7

When Strider settled, Ryan asked, “May I ask, are you gay and in denial, bisexual, a lesbian?” That sexy smile warmed Strider.

“I think I’m bi to the guy side. To tell the truth, I mostly think of guys. I can get it up for women, but I always think of guys when I fuck women.” He notched his courage up. “So, my place or yours tonight?”

Ryan’s face lost its glow. “I’m concerned about moving too fast. I want a relationship rather than a quick fuck.”

Strider shook his head. “I don’t know what I want. Okay, let me think, I’ve never dated a guy and sure want to. I’ve no idea if I’ll end up with a woman, a man, both, or as a hermit. I’m afraid to be gay.”

A weak smile broke onto Ryan’s face. They finished eating and chatted about work. Ryan left cash with the bill on the table with a hefty tip. They stood.

Wu waved. “Seriously, I really hope it works out for you two.” He smiled.

They ambled outside into the pleasant night.
