Cassian returned to his study and sank into his chair. His mind ran over all the things they’d need once they reached the city. A group of trusted guards had been sent to gather information, but they’d likely found nothing yet. The first thing to do would be meet up with them inside the city walls and join their groups together. Having more eyes to watch the child suited him.
