Chapter 22

“The professor has spoken. So, having said all that,” Henry turned to the snowman, “Parson Brown, since we’re in town, would you do the job?”

Henry turned back to Jimmy, who was staring open-mouthed at him.

“You’re serious!” Jimmy managed to say.

“Absolutely—well as absolutely serious as you can be when you’re asking a rapidly melting snowman to marry you to the man you love. But as soon as we can, if you’re willing, I hope we’ll make it official.”

Jimmy threw his arms around Henry’s neck, leapt into Henry’s arms, wrapped his legs around the big man, and kissed him. Vixen danced on her hind legs.

Henry slowly lowered Jimmy to the ground, took hold of his hands once more, and turned to face Parson Brown. “I take this man to be my partner for life and one day my husband. I promise to love him, honor him, and care for him always.”
