Michael, on the other hand, got the barbecue ready, then proceeded to decorate the place with fresh flowers and see-through, helium filled balloons with silver and gold confetti in them.

Shane had no time to think about the news from the previous night, nor did he want to. The sooner he put Tyler completely out of his mind, the better. Perhaps whatever healing that needed to be done could now begin.

When the guests arrived, they weren’t empty-handed. In fact, the dining table was laden with housewarming gifts. Pot plants, an electric grill and griddle, some towels and soaps, a lamp and a set of hand-crafted bowls. They also received a soap and candle set, an expensive one, from a boutique store. Mona had bought them “His and His” monogrammed bathrobes from the United States.
