What if this was real? What if she was really going to jump? What would it be like? She’d always imagined it would be exhilarating at first—like flying. But she’d never know unless she did it. She looked down again and felt the cool wind in her face and felt herself leaning. Forward and then back. Forward again and then back—until she imagined herself falling. Into the wind, the buildings blurred and tall, colors melting into each other. They were like ribbons that reached up into the sky.
And then everything would go dark.

At that moment Jerry Tyler and Grant walked onto the set, their heads together, nodding and talking. Grant finally pulled away, quickly found his place, and stood waiting for the magic words that would bring the scene to life.
“Action!” the director finally yelled.
Hearing his cue, Grant ran onto the scene of horror, and yelled, “Shayde! Don’t do it!”
