He wasn’t sure what was going to happen during the day. They’d had a great time all night, and a quick glance out the window showed the snow was still coming down, so Logan couldn’t leave yet—not that Shawn wanted him to leave. He felt comfortable around him and was eager to spend more time with him.

“Woo-hoo! It’s freaking cold out there,” Logan called. Shawn entered the kitchen and found the man wiping down Bailey. Logan smiled. “That was the fastest I’ve ever seen him pee. He nearly tackled me coming back inside.”

Shawn squatted next to him and patted his head. “Poor Bailey, having to go out in this. How about we give you some breakfast and you go rest on the sofa?”

The dog shook his whole body and they both laughed. “Clearly he likes the idea,” Logan said
