Focusing on the movie took Noah’s mind away from his discomfort. When the time came for another movie, his aches ceased, his muscles relaxed.


Halfway into the new movie, Noah realized Mason’s breathing had evened out, and he’d finally stopped making comments on every other scene. The play by play could be annoying, but was somewhat endearing when Mason did it. It seemed as if he wanted to make sure Noah hadn’t missed something, and that Noah had the best time possible. But the chatter was also something that would keep Noah out of a theater with Mason in the future.
