“Thirty,” Mike replied with a lift in his voice, knowing that I’d break down and agree to the show at Stolid.
“I have twenty-seven new pieces.”
“Close enough, Dixon. So you’ll do it?”
“Only because you’re begging me, which is irritating.”
“Sometimes that’s what it takes,” he said cheerily, then he told me that he’d arrange everything with Sasha and that he’d talk to me soon.15: Sharing Gray
Poyddington’s Table

Poyddington’s Table was located at Poyddington Ranch on the Poyddington River. Franklin W. Poyddington IV had started his catering business specializing in barbecue brisket in 1992, and he was well known throughout the tri-state region. Two huge barns loomed in the distance: the glory of Table. Beyond the barns were a koi pond, three vegetable gardens, and a sky-reaching ranch house where Franklin lived.
